A Weekend in Czechia: Day 1

My friend and I hopped on the 2 pm train to Munich. The ride was swift lulling me to sleep despite the crying baby in the background. Munich Haupbanhof revitalized me as we switched trains to head towards the airport. Munich airport on a Thursday in October around 4 pm is rather quiet. With no lines at security I made it through rather swiftly, although they did search my bag until they located my dried-up mascara – big security concern, I’m sure. I repacked my bags shamefully after I was reprimanded for having too many liquids in my carry-on bag. We waited and boarded our flight without a hitch: scanned our boarding passes, walking down a staircase, loaded onto a packed bus, stepped onto the tarmac, and climbed up some steep steps to board the plane. The flight was SHORT. Up and down in a matter of 35 minutes.
Arriving in the Czech Republic only provided one obstacle: an online form for contact tracing and quarantine information. Finding a taxi was swift and the drive to our Airbnb was even faster as he drove through the streets of Prague like a good ole getaway driver.
